i was experimenting with using rough shapes to get the image of a body down real quick, instead of the more laborous process I normally use to sketch out a body. Initially I was gonna try a Terezi picture but I couldn’t get the body to look broad enough, so I settled for doing one of Shurak and a spider-person.
I’m still struggling with her more robot-looking components; I don’t have a look for her full robot form just yet, and I don’t know what sort of balance between default and mechanical to use for her so far.
Also, obligatory size comparison detail! That spider-person is like six feet tall. Shurak is big.
IT's worth while, doing one of a random non-human person. I really need to beef up my skills with xeno works, since I love them way more than I love human characters in general.
I might color this later on, might not; we'll see!
